Meet Your Baker:

Jenna Hanson

I’ve always had a passion for taking care of others, which naturally led me into my nursing career. One of the Doctors I worked with introduced me to these amazing, tiny and complicated french treats that he had mastered. I couldn’t get enough of them and I finally decided to try my own hand at making these temperamental, finicky cookies.

It only took a year and hundreds upon hundreds of cookies to finally perfect a macaron that was worthy of my standards. That was when SugarBeat Macarons was born. Sugar has always been a part of our life as my husband grew up on a sugar beet farm and now I’m happy to share my macarons with all of you.

  • NUT ALLERGY
These macarons are made with almond flour. We are not a nut-free kitchen. Some of our flavors contain nuts, peanuts, pistachios, etc. We do not recommend eating these macarons if you have a nut allergy.
  • WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
Current forms of payment include Venmo, PayPal, Cash
  • HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO PLACE MY ORDER?
Because macarons are a very time-consuming product to create, I ask that you submit your request in a minimum of four weeks prior to your pick-up date for macaron towers, cakes, special events and gift boxes. A $20 rush fee will be charged if you don’t order four weeks prior to requested pick-up date. Rush orders are not guaranteed and are subject to availability.
  • WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY?
I understand that plans can change, and I am glad to assist you in making changes to your order/date whenever feasible and within reason. However, I will be unable to refund the 50% deposit required on macaron towers, gift boxes, cakes and special event orders as these orders have a secured date.
  • HOW DO I STORE MY MACARONS?
Macarons are best enjoyed within 3-5 days at room temperature or 5-7 days in the fridge. You can also freeze macarons, just make sure to allow them to sit for about 30 minutes to come to room temperature before eaten. If kept in the fridge or freezer, macarons are best preserved in an airtight container.
  • CAN YOU SHIP?
Unfortunately, due to the delicate nature of macarons and the uncertainty that the macarons would stay perfectly intact during transit, I do not ship at this time.
